Wearing her bow....

Today our sweet Caylee wears her bow for a precious little girl named Maddie, her cousins Singe and Jacob and all those babies who were taken from their loved ones too soon. Hearing the stories of their losses are absolutely heart wrenching. As a mother I can't even begin to imagine the mental anguish and utter brokenness those mothers and fathers must feel. It gives me yet one more reason to hold my babies a little closer and hug them a little tighter. I am SO very thankful to have been blessed with four healthy and beautiful children. May I never take a single day for granted.

Pretty piggies!

I painted Caylee's little tootsies today for the first time, though a small milestone in the grand scheme of things it was thrilling! (maybe I'm easily entertained?!) She was surprisingly patient with me and let me do both feet. It was so much fun and such a change from all the boy activities we are constantly doing. Just another first of all the girly things I never thought I would experience. My beautiful daughter is such a gift to me, in more ways than I think she may ever know.

Playing catch up

Well, so much for taking the plunge! How will I ever learn to tread in the 'blog world' if I don't even dive in?! I'm afraid life has been so busy that I completely forgot I even started this blog....ooopps.

So I suppose we should do a little catch up. Our family dynamic has been changed this past year with the addition of our sweet baby girl! Despite the fact that Caylee Marie was the biggest surprise I've ever gotten, she has given our family a true sense of completion. She was born late last summer and is truly a gift! She is a great baby, adored by her big brothers and growing faster than my heart can handle.
Now, having said that our home has become louder than ever! Thomas and Braeden are both busy with school and sports, Kolton is busy doing all the dirty, mischievous things that toddler boys do and Caylee is watching them all! Our home may be messy, growing smaller by the day but I wouldn't have it any other way!!

Here is our 2010 in photos....

Taking the plunge!

For a while now many of my friends have been blogging and for one reason or another I have just not given it a chance, not to mention I'm a bit rusty at writting anything that's longer than a text! So I guess now I just have to quite testing the water or lurking around other people's blogs and dive in! I'm not sure if anything I have to say is that interesting but if all else fails at least I can write about the terribly cute things my boys do! So feel free to nose around, come back from time to time and see what we've been up to and feel free to leave a few comments!
